The Manali to Shimla drive is one of the most scenic road journeys in Himachal Pradesh. Covering approximately 260 km through the Kullu Valley, the Beas River gorge, and the lower Himalayan ranges, this route connects two of Himachal Pradesh's most popular destinations. Unlike the Delhi-Shimla or Delhi-Manali drives that approach from the plains, the Manali-Shimla route stays entirely in the mountains - passing through forested valleys, apple orchard towns, river crossings, and small Himachali villages for its entire length.
