The Royal Suite is the largest room on the property — over two thousand four hundred square feet of living space split between a wraparound suite and a private Jacuzzi terrace that looks straight onto the Pir Panjal range. It’s the suite we recommend to couples coming for an anniversary, honeymooners who want to spend most of the day in the room, and guests who’ve stayed elsewhere in Kufri and are coming back for the upgrade.
The interior is Victorian by design — a two-poster king-size bed at the centre, a hand-carved writing desk by the window, Victorian-style brass lamps, and teakwood floors that came out of a restoration job we did in 2019. The bathroom is Italian marble with a separate rain shower and bathtub. The Jacuzzi sits on the outdoor terrace and is operational year-round — many guests use it in December and January when the snow’s falling around them.
In-room dining is available 24 hours. We recommend booking the candlelight dinner on the terrace one of the nights of your stay — it’s a fixed-price five-course tasting menu prepared by our head chef, served by your private butler. Available with twenty-four hours’ advance notice.
