Kufri vs Gulmarg for Skiing

Gulmarg in Kashmir is a serious ski resort with long runs, gondola access, high altitude and an established ski school. It is the right choice for anyone wanting a genuine multi-day skiing holiday.

Kufri is a beginner and day-trip destination. The slopes are short, the cost is a fraction of Gulmarg and the focus is on experiencing snow rather than technical skiing. For introducing your family to snow for the first time, Kufri is perfect. For experienced skiers wanting to improve technique, Gulmarg is a better fit.

Kufri is also far more accessible: 375 km from Delhi (one overnight bus). Gulmarg requires a flight to Srinagar plus a 2-hour drive.
